The fall detection feature of the device is crucial to catch slips, trips and falls. If the person using the device falls or passes out, the sensors in the device will automatically activate an emergency call.
The device has a microphone and loudspeaker that will connect the user with the responder via a two-way call whenever the alarm is activated, either by pressing the SOS button or through the detection of a fall.
All Day Battery
With a 24 hour battery life, you can rest assured that your device will last even the longest day at work. There’s no need to carry around an extra charger or worry about the availability of charging ports.
Real-time GPS Positioning
The device updates its GPS coordinates every two minutes to provide managers or supervisors with a real-time view of their team using the Protector software. This feature also enables the alarm monitoring team to pinpoint where someone is in case of an emergency for a timely response.
The device is fully accredited and conforms with the requirements of the BS 8484:2016, the lone worker and vulnerable people protection standard of quality and safety trusted by organisations.
When you need help, simply press the SOS button to activate the alarm. Now, the whole team can focus on work with the peace of mind that everyone has your back.
Rather than making a sound, the device vibrates discreetly to let the user know that the alarm has been activated. The discretion makes it safe to use when the user is in danger with an attacker.
Send Voice Messages
The device can record and send voice messages. If the alarm is activated, the monitoring operators can listen to any voice messages recorded. This feature enables you to communicate critical information in the case of an emergency.
Pick from a range of wearable accessories such as a belt clip, wrist strap, and vehicle or wall mounts. The device has a universal adapter so you can use a range of accessories with the same device.
Easily enable sharing of devices by simply using the Protector mobile app to scan the QR code on the back of the device, which will link it to your user profile.
The device uses a special multi-network SIM card to send location data and make voice calls. The SIM operates on several of the UK’s largest mobile networks to maximise signal coverage.
No Connectivity Notification
The device will scan multiple networks to look for a signal but it may be unable to connect in very remote areas. In this rare scenario, an LED warning indicator will light up to alert the user that the connection has been lost.
Low Battery Notification
The device will vibrate when the battery drops below 20%. It will also continuously flash the battery indicator light so you know it’s nearly time to charge the device.
The device comes with a charging dock that uses fast-charging technology to charge the device from 0-100% in just four hours.
