Can I use the Safe Pro device outside of the UK and Ireland?

Yes, the Safe Pro device can be used outside of the UK and Ireland. However, the pricing on this page is based on usage within the UK and Republic of Ireland. If you wish to use the device abroad, please contact our sales team via “Get a Quote” to discuss your requirements, as different charges may apply due to SIM roaming.

Does the device come with all the required accessories, such as charging accessories?

Yes, each device comes with a charging dock, charging cable, UK wall plug, getting started guide, and quick-release lanyard as standard. Additional accessories, such as the fast-release belt clip, can be purchased separately if required.

Does the device need a mobile phone signal to operate?

Yes, the device requires a mobile phone signal to make calls and send location data. While the device has Wi-Fi for indoor positioning, it does not use Wi-Fi for data transmission or calls. In low signal areas, we recommend our Roaming SIM upgrade, which provides a SIM card capable of roaming across tier 1 UK networks for optimal signal coverage.

What is the contract length and payment terms?

The contract term for Starter plans is 12 months, paid monthly by direct debit. For larger deployments, we offer longer-term contracts at a discounted rate. Please contact our sales team for more information.

For the Starter plan, the upfront fee covers the cost of the device, making it the property of the customer, and it comes with a 12-month manufacturer warranty. This can include a subscription-length manufacturer warranty, with possible upfront contributions depending on the agreement’s length and terms.
